and the same guy having a "promenade" with some very friendly natives.

A set of ERM Slicks, very nice miniatures, even if the guns are a bit shapeless.

Still going for a "cartoony" look. Got a new camera btw, now all I need is a lightbox :)

I like them slicks, something about them screams retro sci fi and for some reason makes me love them.
-
So far only this. But I will get a lot of time for painting in the next week!

The book turned out horribly. painted it in dim light and from a weird angle... stupid me.

Well I've painted this so far:

It's quiet on these threads since the LPL began, isn't it?
But here's my February output anyway.

I painted the Pyrovile this month (after undercoating it in 2008!). Doctor Hugh is just there for scale.

Finished off my Stargate Jaffa army (as seen on the Future Wars board) and got about half a dozen figs for my new mini-project finished. But that's a secret and will be revealed when they are all finished.
I make it a total of 20 figures and a little spaceship.
-
Some really nice stuff again this month.
I painted 62 figures in February… and one Jeep lol
All 28mm, half of them for rounds 1 to 3 of the LPL ;D

Steve, those Last Night on Earth minis you painted up look really good. I was wondering, what was the significance of the upside down triangle on the bases? If they are a signiature of some sort, I like them.
-
Ive just got a few ships done.

Thanks. I use the bottom point of the triangle as the basis for measurements, calculations of angles of sight and fire and so on. It saves worrying about where on the base or figure to measure from, or whether a figure partly covered by a template is caught by it or not.

54 this month.

Right, enough about me, those ships are brilliant :) The Slicks are stunning, lovely shade of red and Austin powers, well, I just need an Austin Powers, where did he come from?

The Slicks are stunning, lovely shade of red
thanks, GW foundation Mechrite red, vallejo model flat red, and white - simple clean red which I'll be using from now on. GW badab black for shading. I'm quite happy to admit that I like the newer GW paints. The slicks are very nice models, I might even get a second set at some point..
Who makes those dogs? They look good.
-
Dogs are from Gripping Beast.
-
Thanks.. looks like they have pigs too, and 90p per mini is quite affordable... hmm..
-
...I just need an Austin Powers, where did he come from?
I think its a Blue Moon mini.
Yup, from the British Agents set:

Top output as usual, Matakishi! :)

A nice array, Nick - I look forward to seeing them larger. But where did you get the Outer Limits Zanti misfit? (See http://www.homevideos.com/outerlimits/ol14.htm (http://www.homevideos.com/outerlimits/ol14.htm) if you don't know what I'm typing about.)
-
Cheers Steve, it's from Gary Mitchell's range of figures that goes with his Space Vixens From Mars game

Only finished 8 this month, with another 8 or so 75 percent or so done. Bad habit of mine. My photo taking ability needs even more polishing than my painting, so bear with me.
