Last year I bought some minis from Hasslefree, and amongst them was Hasslefree's Miranda, my wife saw it and loved it, so instead of painting it up for myself I've painted it for her as a display piece. I guess I've probably put 10-12 hours into the whole piece, and I reckon it's currently one of the best pieces I've done yet (it's always nice to see your skills improving!), anyway I gave it to her on Saturday and it's now sat in pride of place in our dining room, but on to the mini:

Hope you guys like her too.

She's a beauty, mate!
It put her in my dining room as well. ;)

Splendid!

Looks great. Nice job on the base too.

Thanks guys, Hasslefree minis have a tendancy to live upto their name, they're really hasslefree to paint, it's almost like the paint themselves!

Thats beautiful!

Thanks again!

that came out really nice

What a nice paint job! I really like how the base and especially the water turned out. :-*
How did you do the flowers?
-
Hi Carsten, glad you like as I'm often really impressed with your stuff. For the plants I used some etched brass plants available from hasslefree- really easy to use, good scale and nicely detailed.

Brrr, have to order some of those now as they really are good looking in your pic...
Are these flowers called 'bluebonnets' in English? Master Google said so.
-
Er, maybe I've always heard them called Foxgloves, but I'm not a flower expert so no idea (my brother is though)

WOW! That's a superb piece of work :-*
Just when I think I'm doing OK someone comes along and produces something like this awesome paint job. It's enough to make a grown man snap his brushes in half and sulk in the corner.
