I am such a fan of this game and time period. If you asked me a month ago, id have told you this is the last thing i wanted to play. Now its my favorite!

My cannibal tribe figs are a little fatter around the belly after devouring your tribe. They particularly loved dining on your leader with a side of witchdoctor washed down with a a nice chardonnay. Great game as always! I cant wait to paint up more stuff for this

Really good looking bunch. :)

Very effective paintjob. Bravo!

More of this! That's an order!

brilliant and very scary guys.
I love the colours and skin tones, the face masks are a bit pulpy in my humble opinion, but those coming out of a jungle must be quite a fuzz.
-
Really nice one, I'm doing the same for some dangerous Askaris gone bad :)
-
Very good! I like the Pygmies’ painted faces very much 8)
-
lovely face paint- very nice work- Makes me want to get all colonial again :o
-
Thanks guys!
Black bear your right they are a little pulpy :) I plan on using the figs for Pulp games as well (all i need know is a volcano and a giant gorilla). I figure i might as well get some use extra use out of the figs since i am such a slow painter!

Beautiful work, Death. Painting stuff with the intention of using for multiple games is something I am fond of as well (like my Pygmy Wood Elf Army for Warhammer Fantasy that has already been used for a pulp style Mutants and MAsterminds game as well as a Darkest Africa game). I love the faces!

Cracking paint jobs!! Love the green you've used on the witchdoctor, and the face paint is GREAT! Only painted a couple of cannibals myself so far, I've given mine white face paint too, mine have paint fully covering their faces, I prefer the way you have done yours though, looks more menacing.

Can we see a game?
I'll try and get pictures for the next game.
-
Fantastic, I'll try with this white paintface in some of my tribal warriors... excelent work sir! Waiting for more
-
What glorious work! :-* What make are they?

Wot the rest said :D
Seems like you have started a craze with the skull face paint. Very good idea and beautifully executed.
I'm also going to liven up my pygmies with this. Who cares if it's historical or not? If it isn't, it should be ;)
