Title: 3D Game Markers
Post by: SgtPerry on February 18, 2010, 09:04:30 PM
I used cinematic effects from Armorcast to create some game markers. There are explosions and cooked-off markers.

Beautiful stuff, as always.

How'd you make them?  please share. :)

For the explosions, it's rather simple I painted the grenade blasts http://armorcast.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=100&products_id=1011

For the burning tanks, these are smoke plumes http://armorcast.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=100&products_id=753 glued on bases that are textures with sand.

For the bursts of dirt, I used pistol flashes http://armorcast.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=100&products_id=965 that I glued vertically on a texture base as if the dirt springs when the bullets hit the ground.

I missed the zing zing...
