I started this as a daft laugh for some VSF fun. Just a unit to play with.
Then it got away from me and I ended up with this:

Some pictures you may have seen before on the VSF board, some you won't have. Figures by Phoenix Designs, except the Dark Lord from Heresy, scientist from Grenadier/Mirliton, ship from Alpha Forge, bioconstructs from VOR/Ral Partha and our very own Doc Twilight's miniature Mata Hari does excellent sevice as a Goa'uld queen.
Hope you like them, the pics aren't as clear as I'd have hoped in some cases.
Now for a new project... :)

Great work! :-*

Those are awesome!
Very well done fella. :)
-
:-* love those, i scratch built a stargate but never did get around to buying any of the official minis.... :'(
-
Very cool, those big robot fellas fit in nicely.

Is there any chance to get the Phoenix-stuff anywhere? Cold-War-Miniatures has not all of it
-
Thanks fellas. :)

I got all of my stuff from Cold War, but as it says on the site, stocks were limited as the liscence had not been renewed.
I believe Forbidden Planet in the US was carrying them, but you may have the same problem plus extra shipping charges. Cold War was the only European stockist as far as I know.

Hmm! I must have that Mata Hari figure. Not sure why, but I must have it!

Awesome stuff Bobby. I love the glass on the cockpit too. :-*
I see another BLAM game using these chaps against your VSF naval brigade ;D

Ta. :)

Oh, I think we all know why... ;)

Well, give us a couple of months and the Brigade should be up to its full, steam powered strength so it may be a possibility.

That is a brilliant project. Try as I might I could never get into the Stargate show but the Astro Egypt theme always appealed to me.
The Vor Pharoan (sp?) figures look great: such cool figures and well integrated into the force with the paint scheme.
The Alpha Forge ship is really nice too. Is it resin or metal (or both)?
Thanks for sharing, that really is a cool and well executed project. Nice one :-*

really nice army. I would like to have one of this :-*

Its all metal, comes in about eight bits (wings, upper & lower body, guns, sensor array things) with options for making it a four gunner (two extra guns that can go instead of the arrays on the back fins). I thought that would be overkill though.
And thanks again, very happy you like them. :)
