Title: NorthStar Releases 1914 French Zouves
Post by: Darkoath on 01 March 2010, 06:36:53 PM
North Star has released three new packs of 4 miniatures of 1914 French Zouves.

Here is a link to the TMP announcement that has photographs:

There is a special going now that gets you an additional standard bearer miniature if you purchase
the three packs.  I think it also has a special price.

They look pretty nice to me.  I have a few if North Star's SCW miniatures that are pretty nice and these seem to be of a similar quality.

How do these minis scale up to other manufacturers?

They don't really do it for me. When I saw the words 'North Star' I thought for a minute Great War Minis had done some. Oh well. Maybe they will some day.

... They don't really do it for me....

… for me either. That’s a little annoying because North Star seem to concentrate on figures that other manufacturers don’t do like these 1914 French Zouaves and the British Naval Brigade. It would be nice to have some but I think that these figures are not up to today’s "standards"… :?
