I don't know if anyone here has seen this before.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kugelpanzer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kugelpanzer)
I was looking for experimental vehicle designs and came across this little gem. Being on Wiki I'm not sure of the veracity of the information but it seem very interesting and could offer up some good model ideas?

What a curious wee thing indeed.

Looks like something that could be scratchbuilt without too much effort.

Why stop there, how about going for the Landkreuzer P. 1500 Monster, a ultraheavy tank designed to use the Krupp 800mm Schwerer Gustav artillery piece check out the drawings and further info here:

If you're into 1/700 scale gaming you can buy a P.1000 Ratte figure on eBay:

A beast indeed. I was wondering who came up with the idea to mount a battleship turret onto a land vehicle. Granted, it has firepower, but after the destruction of the Bismarck one should be aware that this is one big fat target for a squadron of aircraft, regardless of the amount of Flak installed on it.
Not considering its weight and movement rate...
