Hey all,
I've started a blog to show off some of my miniatures and side projects.
The first few updates feature some custom Star Wars landspeeders that I kit-bashed. Here's a couple photos, there are lots more on the blog. 8)

Very Cool looking
-
Marvellous, extraordinary work. :o
I'm particularly fascinated with the last one (the "dremelized" Batmobile). :-*
-
They're great, nice work.
-
I've got a few of the old Galoob one from the action fleet series.
-
They're all really cool!
-
Really nice models!
-
Those are cool.
That woman with the light saber, her schwarz must be low. Her saber is all floppy! ;D
-
Those are really nice. I've never heard of Galoob Action Fleet models but I might have to get some. Beats trying to build speeders from shampoo bottles and old phones and really cocking it up/giving up half way through (which is my normal technique)!
-
very nice!
-
Really, really nice!
-
Nice work chris. Now get some more Wargods miniatures turned out :D.

lol lol
How dare he play with a dremel, when there's a sculpting tool to be used :o
I shall join in with the praise for the batmobile conversion. Looks great, as do the others, but that one really stands out.

Ha ha! You need not worry, these were all made a couple years ago, I'm just getting around to showing them off here. ;) I promise I've been hard at work on WarGods! 8)
Since you guys like these, I'll show off some more. Here's the next one -- the Mon Calamari Ferrari!

I've posted more pictures of this one, as well as a 'how-to' on my blog:

The Force is strong with you.
Looks like I need to look at doing some kit-bashing of my own...I find 1:43 scale diecasts work well for minis.
Great work, very inspiring!

You are going to awake that slumbering StarWars virus in me again...
-
:-*
Those are really, really great. Thanks for sharing.
-
Im tempted to start gaming
-
Those look amazing. I really like the one with the 2 Mon Calamari figures sitting in it. Very inspirational. Thanks for sharing.

Bad timing, if you know what I mean, Michi? ;)
Great builds and conversions! Top Notch! :)
-
Pimp my Speeder.
Awesome work.
-
Thanks for the great responses!
I've got another Landspeeder nearly finished. Just a few more painting details and a proper Rodian crew, and this one will be done.
Introducing the Rodian Runabout!

I've never heard of Galoob Action Fleet models but I might have to get some.
They are perfectly scaled for the WEG metal SW figures (and shouldn't be too far off as to be unusable with the WOTC ones).
-
Beautiful work Vongoosewink, absolutely beautiful.
-
Oh, yes forgot to comment on the very cool homemade speeders. :-*
-
I love your speeders. They look the way Episode 1-3 vehicles/crafts should have been designed.
-
Really brilliant well done!
-
Wonderful stuff!
Do Armorcast plan to cast any more or put them into production? I'd buy one in a heartbeat!
-
Fantastic stuff! Love them all, very well conceived/built/painted!!! Never knew Star Wars could be so cool! :-*
-
Realy great stuff, especially the Sithspeeder.
Kjempebra.

The model as it currently is sculpted has some real casting problems, so I don't think so. We've talked about me redoing the problem areas for easier production. I might do this, if I can find the time, and there is enough interest.
The problem is that I didn't make the model with the intention of casting it -- that was an afterthought, just to see if we could do it. ;)

Thanks! That is high praise!
I'm waiting for George to call with a job offer. :D
-
I'm hoping you get each of these into production via armorcast - not sure my wallet could handle it though...
