Just finished painting the five slave drone figures for Killer-B's GAFDOZ retro sci-fi game

As ever, pictures of them all also on my Photobucket site...

A great paintjob on a freakin' hilarious figure.
In many ways that figure pretty much defines the pulp sci-fi genre. The "lamé" toga is great 8)

Oh these are just too much fun, a real 50's sci fi movie feel!

The make me think "Prehistoric Jaffa"
Great PJ though.

Can someone refresh my memory on how the GAFDOZ stuff scales with other Pulp stuff. The humans won't scale with Pulp Figures humans, right? But do they scale OK with Hydra miniatures or Wargames Supply Dump?
Thanks!

@fourcolorfigs GAFDOZ scale quite well with Hydra and Wargames Supply Dump.

IMHO, they are noticeably chunkier than the Hydra stuff, but the main difference is style-wise - GAFDOZ certainly is more "Flash Gordon-esque", while Hydra has a cleaner, 1950s-60s "atomic age" look. They work quite well next to WSD figures, where the slight style differences are balanced out by the very compatible "physique".
All that said, all the GAFDOZ figures I painted (as commissions) were very well cast and excellent value for money. On their own, I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

While they are larger than Pulps line I do use the Alien type alongside them.
