Nice 8)
I like the addition of different colors of flock on the bases and the "tall flowers".
The images are a little fuzzy but the figures look like they are fun to paint. Aren’t they?
-
Yeah poor light this evening for shadow stealing. :D (plus i'm a lousy photographer too). They look dipped in the pics yet are painted in the old style with shading, highlights etc though its hard to see lol.
The figures are indeed fun to paint, full of character, really capture that period.
The bases i was experimenting with, was after a meadow effect with various colours. Although i did the 'soil' as normal, PVA and sand, drybrushing etc i covered most of it up with foliage in the end and added the flowers. Brings a whole new meaning to the Flower wars really!

Thanks forsharing those timg. I've been wondering about Trent. Do you know how they would match up with Eureka? I wouldn't mind getting some for variety.
-
Hi Aaron,
Eureka are slimmer than the Trent ones or at least the ones i have are! Both are nice ranges of figures though, finaly we are getting spoilt for choice for the French Revolution especialy when you consider Brigades doing them as well now. (Another range i shall have to paint a few of)
cheers Tim

Yeah, you could never fault Brigade for not being groundbreaking and original in their choice of periods.

Aye you can never get bored looking through their ranges!
