Sorry folks. stumbled on the finish line this week so I had to regurgitate last weeks entry. :?
-
They are excellent though Hammers - worth a second look I think
-
Harad and his men, are those Wargames Factory figures?
-
Hammers, you entry is really something. You can look at it again and again, there is so much to see! The miniatures are awesome, but it's the total image that's just brilliant. The moss on the trees for instance is really great and adds some green to the picture.
The vikings are indeed Wargames Factory, just like Rorik's raiders in round 4.

Fantastic stuff. So many tough choices in this thing.
Hammers, could I persuade you to spill the beans on that nice fall ground cover? If you posted it somewhere else I apologize...

I did post it elsewhere. I find that forest floor litter looks best if put down in layers. In this case I a square of XPS, covered in a 1/2 inch layer of a plaster like paste tinted dark umber, strewn with sticks and pebbles and then flattened with a rolling pin. On top of this I layered coloured sawdust, going from dark umber to burnt sienna to raw sienna. Atop of this I sprinkled natural birch seeds. Serve luke warm with a vanilla custard.

Thank you for posting it again. Absolutely top drawer.
