Title: A Hello and a beginner's question for Swashbuckling minis
Post by: TredHed on 28 May 2007, 10:48:29 PM
Hello All!

Name's Jon. I'm into all sorts of minis but havent ever really touched swashbuckling stuff (which is odd as I am our rpg groups derring doer).
I really want to do up a nice terrain board like Ive been seeing on here and other places. The Okko board inspires me alot.
My question: Is there good minis to represent some swashbuckling heroes, Errol Flynn, Will Turner, Jack Sparrow, Inigo Montoya, Wesley as The Man in Black, Zorro?

I can help with a couple, I got my Zorro from Artizan Designs, he's not on the website but if you send them an email they should be able to help:

GW do an Errol Flynn style Robin Hood, he's in their Bretonnia range, I can't find him in their online store but I think he was sold as Bertrand Le Brigand.  If he's out of production you could try sending them an email or looking on ebay maybe?

Lance and Laser also has a Zorro, though I wish his pose was less static. On the plus side, he's accompanied by his love interest (whose name eludes me at the moment).

There's a bunch of Jack Sparrows around, as were listed in another thread not long ago.

Can't help you about the others, sorry.
