That is a very appealing green on those Toasters, Revford. :)
What colour / make is it?

Lovely entries both
Moriarty - any chance of getting a closer look at your minis?
-
Revford - great green on those. Funnily enough I'm just painting up my own versions of those minis and have also chosen to paint them up green. Are you playing Silent Death with them or another game?
-
The Green is from a very old pot of Citadel Metallic Glistening Green, washed with Vallejo Black Wash to dirty it up and matt it down.
I'm still looking for a nice set of rules for Starfighters, most of the space combat rules I've seen favour Capital Ships over Fighters.
We were thinking of adapting Wings of War or Song of Blades. A few people have mentioned the Silent Death rules, do you have a link for them?
-
I too have been looking for a good set of fighter rules. Silent Death are the best I've found so far, but as they have a rather complicated damage track and seem to be less and less supported and used everything from a D4 up to a D12 (I prefer single dice type games), I'm not sure just yet. The fighters from EM4 were designed for Silent Death so there are stats for each of the fighters on the sprue there.
This is the main shop for rues and some nice lead ships

Then there's these rules from GZG, which I've not tried yet:

I'm trying to write my own at the moment, so if you'd like to have a look (it's just rough notes right now) you're more than welcome to.

Cheers for the links dijit, I'd love to take a look at the rules you're working on.

I'll try and make them readable and send them off to you.
