Title: Sample art from Super Science Tales
Post by: Operator5 on 29 May 2007, 09:35:54 PM
My good friend Chris Weeks (http://starving-artist-productions.com/), the artist who worked on The Gargoyle comic strip before life made him too busy, is back working on the interior art for Super Science Tales. Some images from the strips along with some new art will be appearing in the book. I'm posting a sample here:

Here you see a mad (though still quite buff) scientist firing his death ray into the city!

Now look, Rich.

I know mad scientists. I live and breathe mad scientists. Nobody has more famliar with the genus than me. And I have to criticise this on grounds of realism.

Well, huh, that came out wrong.

But no mad scientist ever had muscles like that. It's not like Doc Savage with his daily regimen of mental and physical exercise. Mad scientists spend 27 hours a day messing with things that Man was Not Intended. They flout the laws of physics. They don't work out, eat properly, or take supplements.

OK, they probably take supplements.

But you get my point. H
