Title: Dust Tactics teaser site up now
Post by: SBMiniaturesGuy on April 01, 2010, 10:02:22 PM
Dust Tactics now has a teaser website online:

http://www.dust-tactics.com/

Planned now for a September release with several expansions -- I'd better start saving up my pennies for this!!

Looks pretty tasty to me!

It's funny, because back when AT-43 was still just a 'sneak preview', I swear I had read where it was going to be a Weird War Two game.....  Even the name was 'supposedly'  AT-43  as in Alternate Technology-1943.
I guess we've come full circle now....

I think AT-43 was going to be weird war II, but IIRC there was some legal dispute between Paolo Parentes and Rackham.  I'm glad to see that whatever legal stuff was going on appears to be settled, and these great 'mechs may finally grace our gaming tables!

This is just what I want.

A new game, with rules and some new minis that can find homes in other warzones!

Reminds me of Ring of Red for the PS2 (some day I will return and complete that game)

What worries me about the pre-assembled, basecoated nature is that it all depends on the care put into it (removing from sprues, cleaning, glueing neatly). :?

That's a very good point.

I'd be excited to have a preprimed, ready to paint mini...But if it's got huge mold lines, or poor joints...It will definitely defeat the purpose.

Are the minis 28 mm scale?
