Title: Halo Board game pieces
Post by: Doomsdave on April 02, 2010, 07:34:10 PM
I just spotted these at Toys R' Us on sale for US$10.  The figures are really too rubbery to use but the board pices are great for generic sci-fi ship corridors or factory floors etc.  I have a set and they are worth the $10 alone as the squares are conveniently 1" X 1". The little mesh fences are great generic terrain as well.  Thought I'd tip you all.

Me and a buddy scored about 20 of these between us.  We ditched the minis, rules, etc. to use them as great modular SF terrain.  The grid is 1" squares and it builds very nice multi-level set-ups.  Here is a link to someone's painted set being used for tactical purposes:

It'd be great to play 'Frag' on for sure.
