Title: The Summoning
Post by: Operator5 on 07 April 2010, 12:43:32 PM
I'm working on some Hybrids and cultists for an upcoming game. As always, I wanted to post the progress on them. The High Priest has been shown before, the cultist (from Brigade) can't be seen well in this picture and then I have the Hybrid which I painted yesterday,

Love the paint job on the hybrid - especially the hat.  :D

Those hybrids really are some awesome models. Methinks I'm going to have to pick them up this week to add to my collection.

BTW, nice use of plastic canvas there - I might have to borrow that idea.  ;)

I need to touch it up a bit. That was the first attempt at "hound's tooth" pattern.

The terrain is a bunch of pieces thrown together.

For the game, I'm working on the New Commerce Museum of History...

The whole building, or the facade/front only? Either way, I like the look of your plan! Might have to borrow that for my next round of buildings... My only quibble with the plan above is the main door looks undersized - shouldn't it be about 30-50% taller than it is, judging by the positions of the windows?

I also like the look of your iron fence out of plastic embroidery mesh. I really must track some of that stuff down, so many uses for it! (the local Michaels doesn't seem to stock it, and I haven't made it to a proper fabric/sewing store yet...)
