Title: WWW2 German camo colour test
Post by: Tas on 18 April 2010, 10:56:28 AM
Ahoy all,

I did some digging around to get the advice on late war  German cam colours and have done a test of both Summer and Autumn colours on my SoTR Mech Grenadiers.

They came out OK, but something didnt click with them, the Summer one in particular, but I cant figure out what it is.  Any tips from you guys?  ???

The cam. is great :)finish the minis, that will contrast with your cam and look complete,ie webbbing colour against the cam.

   PS I live in Goulburn,we have a club.PM me if your're interested.

maybe run some devlin mud washes in the creases of the camo? ive done that before with german camo and it adds a bit more depth

I think the camo look good that way... you will have a better idea of the effect when the rest of the figure is done anyway...

it's the black rest of it
looks too flat and camo flattens the figure too

finish the gear, then retouch the camo - I think it looks fine
