This is a tough one. Lots to like on both entries. Well done.

*petting a fluffy white cat:* So we meet again, Mr. Chris...

Thank you. I used to build a lot of models as a boy and young teenager. Can see why. I now find it a chore. Painting them is fun, although this one is only half ready.

Love the copy of 'Punch' Hammers... Anyone would think British officers were idiots! ::) ;)

Indeed. I had already wondered when it would be time for me to get hammered. Hammer time! lol

So you noticed. :) I wanted to do "Boy's Own" but wasn't sure how to get that onto a scale cover.

Batting and fielding tips by Yorkshire's Percy Holmes*, eh? I must get that issue.
"A Canoe Hurdle Race in New Zealand." I think we have stumbled upon the subject matter for your Round 10 entry, H. Just how does one paddle a canoe around a race track and over hurdles, anyway?
Kudos to Mr. Hammers for such an ambitious entry, what with having to build a plane and all. And some bumper 2000AD points to young Christian there, especially for risking his neck getting that flag to the top of the dome just for his background photo.

Hammer’s entry is as good as usual (I think) but somehow the scene seem to be a little too dark… or is it my computer that’s not working properly? Anyway, I think that the photo is not as good as usual.
P.S.: Maybe I shouldn’t criticize the photo skills of others as mine are average at best lol

I could have arranged the double decker differently. The fill spot to the right is to weak and can't light up the shadow cause by the top backlight.

Don’t get me wrong your photos are far better than mine. I know what it is to have physical constraints while photographing figures. I, myself, take the pictures of all my entry on a foot large section of a shelf with a single, regular, 100w from a desk lamp… lol

Very difficult choice here.

very nice entries an in particular, Peder I love the colours you used on the pilot - well done.

Thanks you Helen. I am sure you've noticed several flaws in the airplane. No 'cat's cradle' between the wings for example. I did not have time to finish the model completely. Speaking of which I will probably stumble on the finish line, I have not lifted a finger for the last entry. :?
