Resin Nelson from Black Scorpion

nice miniature
but younger Nelson, at least before 1797 ;)
-
On my "to buy" list but I'll wait for the metal version.
-
Waiting for it in metal too, one of my heroes Nelson so got to paint him up. A young Nelson would be great too with all his bits present and some officers and crew to go with him. Begining to ponder commissioning a small range of 1790's RN if i knew where to start. Ever down Norfolk pop into his old local in Burnham Thorpe and have a pint, place is full of memorabillia about him and was where he threw a party for the villagers once.

how much younger?
he was 39 when he lost the arm

Just be patient. All part of the plan for my current range.

Im thinking of his early years, early twenties or thirties say although any figure of all of him would be good, pre Tenerife anyway.

Excellent, i shall sit tight.

Lovely figure. I'd never use him in a game, but would be nice to paint up some time.
I wonder if there's any chance of my personal favourite admiral, Collingwood, appearing from Black Scorpion?
-
Nice. I like Admiral Benbow (the real one, although our Admiral Benbow here seems like a fine chap and great painter/terrain guy ;)).
LOL! he got screwed by the captains under him, that's for sure, but never complained or blamed anyone.
I want Decatur and Prebble though. Especially as I went the Barbary Pirates route.
