Title: Lou Ferrigno Hulk
Post by: cwchmc on 21 April 2010, 06:23:00 PM
Anyone know of a 28mm figure that could be used as Ferrigno style Hulk with a minimum of conversion? I've been thinking about it all morning and can't some up with one.

A large number to choose from in Heroclix. What sort of features would make it a "Ferrigno" Hulk for you?

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I have a large # of HC Hulks. What I want is something that looks like a real bodybuilder not an 8' tall 900 lb behemoth.
Now, there may be some HC figs that will work. I can't think of any off the top of my head. I'll have to look through my collection.

SI Hercules or Goliath
Crisis Mammoth, Ace
Avengers Luke Cage, Pile Driver,
SN Drax, Bulldozer,
Sinister Radioactive Man,
AW Executioner, Thunderball, Thinderbird/Warpath

I could delve further back, but they tend to get harder to get. I know some of them are giants (Ace and Goliath) but they are on the smaller size for a "Giant"

What about Ironclad Miniatures Mr Hyde in the VSF section. I think he'd work pretty well

Thanks for the ideas. Anyone know how the Ironclad figs match up against Copplestone?

Is this clay golem from Reaper too big for you?

Yep, too big. I want the figure to look like a 1970's made for TV interpretation of the Hulk. I'm envisioning a figure that looks like a body builder painted green and wearing ripped up clothes. The scenario(s) I have in mind are going to be based on the '60's/'70's TV cheese/camp style. Think Avengers meets Scooby Doo meets the A-Team meets Doctor Who meets Hulk meets $6 Mill Man, etc.

I follow you.  How about Doc Thompson from Pulp Figures painted green.

With a little modding White Tiger from Golgo Island might be good.

I really wish I would think of these all at once.  Tetsuhara from Hasslefree.

While he's a little small by today's standards, in the "obscure" category, I'd suggest "Jiant" from Grenadier's Champions villains box set.  Now I just need to see if I can find mine to take a picture of it.

I can see the Golgo island one working EXTREMELY well.

The largest of the 3 Homunculoid figures might work for you.
