...I naturally associate with LAF :-I but here goes... ;)
Okay, I want a source of thin, steel or iron based, approximately 3/8" disks to use with either plastic aerial bases (with Brigade Models base weights) or Litko aerial bases. I want to be able to mount a 1/600th scale aircraft on the base using one Rare Earth magnet (avoiding the infrequent but always (Murphy!) hard to remove reversed polarity issue of two magnets) and a metal "cap" on the Litko flight peg topper http://www.litkoaero.com/page/LAI/PROD/AFS/AFS006-20 as this has the bonus of other genre/scales for non-Aircraft (starships, Dragons, fairies) flying miniatures.
Gracias,
Glenn

Does the magnet go on the base or the plane? If the plane, how about using some nails with large heads on them. You'd get the post and the flat top to place the plane all in one go.
