Very nice Christian. Is that a hand painted backdrop (or CGI)?  ;)

Hi, the steampowered clockwork Samurai (Tetsujin-Ichi) is either an AEG "Clan Wars" figure or a Reaper re-issue of those (I think it was called "Lion Clan Hero", but it was out of the blister for more than half a decade, so...). I added a steam engine to the back, which may or may not be a Warmachine bit (got it in a big bag of bits in 2007).

The other figures are the EM-4 samurai. Delightful figures, more 25mm than 28, but very, very well sculpted and nicely posed. I really like the ninja. Sadly, the range is limited to those four, if I'm not mistaken.

It's a CGI image which I found by googling "steampunk japan". Stretched it a bit to be A4 width, and added "gravelly" texture to the bottom half to match the figure bases.

I actually had a small vehicle (Tetsujin-Ni) half-built, but couldn't get it finished in time due to real-life commitments (and a lull of inspiration after the figures were finished).

The Bushi really are excellent figures- I may have to pick up a set of those...! Beautiful work on the backdrop and the conceptualization (and the painting, of course...!) ;)
