Excellent stuff :-*
I like the Crescent-Root buildings very much ... they look real and are excellent for playing games.
More of these photos please ... ;D ;D ;D

Love your use of .22 shells as counters.
Where's the snake oil salesman and wagon from?

Thats a cracking set up - great paint jobs.

Hi
Looks great, what rules do you use?

What a great looking town. I like the creative use of empty cartages, do they represent rounds fired or hits recieved?

WOW!! Awesome looking game, figures and terrain. I really like the idea of the empty shell casings to reflect counters...very original idea. Thanks for sharing. Too bad Crescent Root isn't in production yet!!

Thanks all. Glad y'all like the game shots. The game was lots of fun - I realized when we were done that I had stopped shooting photos before the climatic end of the game.
This is the town of Los Lobos and it is primarily a mix of Crescent Root and ARNICA (with a little JR Miniatures). Crescent Root is apparently back in limited production. There was a shout out on TMP a couple of months back - I managed to snag the Mosque. You may send him a feeler to see if he is ready. These are great for the Mideast, the Wild West, the Mediterranean, and Sci-Fi.
I also have a bunch of clapboard buildings from ARNICA in my painting shed - can't wait until they start reselling everything so that I can roll that stuff out for the town of Dry Gulch. Eventually both will exist on a ON30 train lay-out in my game room. Hint, hint need to buy that Train Station....
I run a set of rules called The Movie Cowboy game. It is entirely card driven and pretty quick. Each character is worth 1 to 5 cards and a gangs is worth a total of 10 cards. Each cowboy gets one action per card. The cards determine the initiative order following poker precedence, but the action is interwoven. All the combat is also determined by pulling cards from a poker deck - I use one with the results printed on the cards so very few charts are necessary. The movement and ranges are all done using your hand-span (roughly 8 inches) as your ruler. This results in little board clutter, quick resolution, and lots of action even when you have 6 or 7 players each running a gang. If anyone is interested - drop me a note and I will send you the rules. By the way, I also have a Pulp, Fantasy, and Space Opera version in the works.
The empty .22 represent shots fired that need to be reloaded, red poker chips are wounds taken, white are for brawl hits, and blue chips are reminders that something is wrong with the mini (missing weapon, paralyzed, injured arm, etc.).
Some of these minis were painted minis from the EM-4 sets and some painted figures I bought from Knuckle Duster (the sporting girls and deputy Barney). The Chinese are from Pulp Figures and the rest are mix of this and that. The carriages are Old Glory, the wagon is Blue Moon, the Hearse is Lledo, the horses/longhorns ERTL, and the sheep are Gripping Beast. I think the vultures are from Steve Barber, but cannot remember for certain. I also tell everyone that if a mini has eyes my son painted it - mine are just blind.
Lots of fun. Here are more from past games: http://www.flickr.com/photos/9975128@N05/collections/72157623807062113/

Tried to look at this yesterday lunchtime - unfortunately I was on one of my work computers and they won't allow flickr .... Computer says no.
Superb layout, impressive looking game, great stuff all round. 8)
All my used .22 cases just go into the scrap brass bins, only keeping centre-fire calibres for reloading, maybe I should start keeping a few ;)
