just to sum up all the pirates painted last time, enough for three different crews. How told in the other thread, alternative chinese crew will come and african pirates one day, too.

Very, very cool. It's really neat to see them all together. The whole scurvy lot of 'em!
-
Very good. How much for the whole lot.
Seriously, I've come to the conclusion that I don't have time to paint anymore.
C'maahhhhhhhnn! :)
-

Haven't you ever heard the expression "if you have to ask, you can't afford it?" :)
-
I disagree smartypants!
I can afford it, I have my own miniatures company, I must be rich!
Plus, when I want something, I get it...I can, ugh, thwack, bonk. Uh, my wife said I can't play today...
-
Eric: You sound just like me!

Well hopefully the next time we see these awsome figures, they will be gracing the Legends of the High Seas book. The Prof has done a great job on these & I know that Rob Broom over at WHH will love these.
So even if you don't like the rules for LotHS, it will be a nice book to have just for the pictures. (Although I hope you all like the rules though!)
Great job Prof, these are beautiful!

Just registered and wanted to say that I absolutely love the Chinese pirates. They look terrific.

I was about to suggest an exorcism on the Professor since he's obviously possessed by something... but then I thought, what the hell, as long as he puts the occasional thing up for sale that i can buy, let him stay possessed.
Great pictures and great paint job on these! Makes me want to play a pirate game... hmmm, now which one should it be...

Yes, I am, der Malerteufel.
Apart from that I'm from another planet.

Lovely stuff, Prof, and perfectly painted. Where did you get that ship from and do you have more pictures of it? And is that scenery also from the aquarium range?
After some people here told me you can never have too many pirates  and you should always buy 6 more I now have about 50 of them and they've been pestering me that they want to go sailing  so I need to find them a nice ship. Geboom has some nice ones but if anyone else has suggestions, they're welcome!!
-
Old Glory has a nice 10 gun two masted Brigantine..and a cool ghostly ship..very black Pearl.

I got the ship from Agronor (thanks again!) and he has bought it at his local supermarket (LIDL)

Great stuff!! Many thanks for the tips. The brigantine looks very nice and somewhat affordable.
When will there be a Chinese ship, Prof?

Is it going to be of the junk type or a captured Euro-vessel? If it is a junk, are you scratch-building it?

Where'd the dog come from?

exactly, thanks!
-
Hi Prof, Just want to say how lovely your crews are :) Well done too you.
-
Thanks, Johan. I was going to use some OOP Warhammer Fantasy Dark Elf Rottweilers, but they didn't seem to fit.
-
Johan, I searched the Westwind site (under Cowboy Wars) and through the site as whole and cannot find that pack of Townsfolk. could you please send me the link?
-
Hey ChukTuttle,
It's in the Gothic Horror section under Jack the Ripper.
the link is:
http://www.westwindproductions.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=83
Great minis! Odd navigation.
-
Thanks Stephen! I used the search with "town", "townsfolk", etc. I didn't think to use "civilians." I had looked through the Gothic Horror section, but not the Jack the Ripper part. For some reason I didn't think they looked like something that would be from that range.
-
Great stuff!! Many thanks for the tips. The brigantine looks very nice and somewhat affordable.
I actually still have one (well, two, but I do not want to part from both) of those that can be obtained - another member of this forum was interested but could not afford the shipping (ouch, pun-alert!).
I do not remember the exact price of ship+postage, but the ship itself was not expensive.
I could work it out if someone is interested. It seems, I'll not have time nor money to attend any cons (should that be 'battles'??) in the near future to hand it over to somebody for the mere price of it, unfortunately....
-
I'm interested. If you can work out how much you want for it including shipping to the Netherlands I think we can work something out.
I'll also visit Roskilde at the end of July, so if that's more convenient we can try that option.
