Post by: Earther on 28 April 2010, 12:58:10 PM
Any new Soapy-sci-fi on the horizon at Beast Towers?

Inquiring minds need to know…  ;)

I couldn't possibly comment.

Yes, but I don't get to choose when... :'(

That's good news, in a frustrating kind of way! ::) Fingers crossed it'll be sooner rather than later.

Thanks Soapy.

(You should rise up, cast off your chains and demand more autonomy from your Beastly overlords… lol)

I definitely want to see some ! I bought a couple of packs of the Marines at Triples and am currently painting them up as Corporation troops.

Very easy and enjoyable to paint  :D

I definitely hope it's sooner rather than later!

Yes but  I don't get to choose when... :'(

Out of interest does this mean they are made but not yet moulded or that they are still in your head only at the moment?

I doubt it'd help but do it any way. For some reason they want to make ranges that sell. I can't understand why, all I want is a bunch of cool stuff that only I'm interested in... :)

In all honesty though if there is something on your 'wish list' that might find its way into an 'I'm selling this stuff as sci-fi coz I can't think what else to call it' type range then e-mail the Beast. Any time someone e-mails them a wish list they send it to me and I add it to a file. Once there are a few the same of very similar I'll see about getting a sculpting slot for a pack or two here and there. If I'm good and hit all of my deadlines sometimes they even say yes!

Wishlisting the Beast is the best way to get something made. There are often loads of cool ideas scattered across forums the world over but once they fall off the first page I'm damned if I can find them again so having a list of wants saved in two places means that the Beasty boys know that people really want stuff (and I'm not just off on one of my mad flights of fancy) and I can start thinking about pack composition in anticipation of getting a green light.

Soaps.
