Title: SuperSystem: Berlin 1945

Battle report from our game of a couple of weeks ago:

Also I'm trying out the new look to my blog. I'm sick of that Scribe template. Everybody is using Scribe nowadays, the durned copycats!

wow, Plynkes goes Supersystem   a surprise, really, I thought  Pulp is the most fiction thing you're playing  :P Nice to see you as super hero! I like Supersytem a lot, too. And well, action points could be really funny...Nice writing, thanks for sharing!

You know, your new layout is very green  and you have lots of cool avatars there !

Great game report, Plynkes.

I'm a big fan of SuperSystem and the whole idea of running Golden Age heroes sounds like too much fun!

I would say they are quick to pick up, but then again Chronoglide babysat us through them. It would be my turn to do something, I would say "What are my options?" and he would say "Well, you could do this, this or this." So it wasn't really necessary for me to know the rules at all. But pretty soon I was doing stuff without asking anyway, so I think you could say they can indeed be picked up quickly.

Not so sure I would call our game "Golden Age", as it was inspired by Zenith, a somewhat post-modern take on the superhero genre from the 1980s. But as we ended up with spandex-clad superheroes slugging it out with Nazis, no doubt the end product was much the same!

Prof: I'll play anything if someone else does all the work!

Yeah it was a bit like this, but that is part of the charm of S2, you can really pick it up soon, have fun and still can look forward to alearning curve.

In my last game my buddy Micha did not really how to use the FF (especially Sues moire supporting power TK Grab), but once my big bloke -the Ego Bot- was in the firm grip of Sue Storm TK Grab even Mr. Fantastic could hurt him! Teamwork...

Excellent report once again Poly. I've been waiting all day to read it, it was worth the wait.

As I said on TMP, great report! I love running smaller, more roleplay driven games like the one you guys played.

We have a PDF supplement coming out later this month that has two such linked scenarios and a bunch of other new stuff (powers, characters, etc.).

It does my heart good to see folks enjoying the game as much as we do!
