Post by: dodge on 04 May 2010, 09:50:34 AM
Just a couple of pics on some stuff I have just finished

White russian field gun

and the other side

and an MG

and a chinese mortar

I am fairly happy with the white russians just some base touching up to do.

but I am frustrated once more by my inability to get a thinner highlight on some of the colours

let me know what you think I really would appreciate it.

cheers

Nice work. Did you intentionally set the figures on the field gun to look like the sitting figure in the first picture is getting a bollocking from the officer? The look you've got on the sitting figures face is excellent.

It was actually the way I thought it should go, but now you come to mention it it does look as though he is getting a good telling off  :D

thanks for your comments I have felt as though I had lost some of the skill I thought I had when I was in LPL last year but it seems to be slowly coming back now.

Thanks calimero, it is the never ending project although we do have a campaign sort of thing mulling through our minds at the moment.

I joined this forum in 2006 and have not gamed a game, but have painetd around 400 figs in those four years,

100 per year seems the best I can do, not great when you are buying at least 200 each year

It's better than buying 200 a year and painting 25 a year.  lol Unfortunately, that is about what my production level is normally.

The figures look good. The two guys at the rear of the gun look like they are about to roll some dice while the officer chews out the lazy guy just sitting there.

I love set-ups that seem to have a bit of a story going on so thanks for posting!

cheers Rich, the more I look at it the more it looks like there is something going on there, all quite by accident too  :)
