** UPDATE.
Here are the photos of the Gaslight demo game I ran at Little Wars in Melbourne last weekend.
I have changed the way the Tripod legs are attached so they look a lot better.

I did, and couldn't leave a response. Kept starting with 'f-ing beautiful'... :-*
The first image of the Hermes brought me up short for a bit, though. 'Wait, does he have that mounted on an Erlenmeyer Flask?!?!'
Had to scroll to another image of the flyer, then back again, and 'no, no, but the dark section of the wine glass did look a bit like a stopper...' o_o

Me wants tripods

Gorgeous! Absolutely gorgeous! :-*
-
Marvellous stuff!
Did the Doctor pop along to keep an eye on those dastardly rotten Prussian Daleks? ???
-
Wonderful looking game. Th Hermes is a great looking Neff and the Tripods are outstanding. ;D
-
The TARDIS made a stop on Mars when I realised how out-of-place it looked on my Super System table at the other end of the hall.
I'll have to get to work on some more GASLIGHT stuff so that you can pile even more on next year Fuzzy.
-
marvellous!
an Erlenmeyer Flask?!?!'
erlenmeyer flask, quite an idea!
-
awesome!
really fun to see the Queen Victoria engaging personally the Martians lol
wonderful dauntless and martian tripod models, and great to see the building process on your blog.
-
What a great looking game, thanks for posting :)
cheers

Erlenmeyer Flask! I detect a fellow chemist in the forum :D
Actually I want to get a brandy glass to support the nef. Somehow that seems more fitting for an evening of civilised wargamming.
Next up on the production line will probably be a Martain float ship complete with sails and rigging etc. ;)
Hat Guy, I'm thinking Avatar 1880 for next year!
Cheers

Per chemist: Sorry, I are periodic table dumb; had to Google to make sure I had my spelling correct. Does amaze one what does come back to you from early school after a third or more of a century. :)
Brandy snifter: Well said! Still, the champagne, whether flat or flute, seems in keeping as well. And, often easier to obtain. I've never seen a packet of snifters in the dollar store... ;->=
Martian float ship: REALLY looking forward to that; I've mentioned elsewhere, I've a thrift store USS Constitution (half a meter long?) that was started, but not finished, that I've turned over to a friend to do dastardly deeds. I personally was thinking either something similar to your description, or Robar the Conqueror's mass of helicopter blades, but he's thinking squashed together string of balloons, and I couldn't be happier.
I also stated I'm near a loss for getting images up to share; pray, sir, continue to be a better man than I!

Avatar huh? Is this something I'll have to worry about at Open Day as well? ;D
In either case, I'll focus on getting the LXG and maybe a Doctor and Companion done.

No open day is sorted this year with battle of Britain.
But next year... :D
