Figures by Blue Moon, painted by me.
I had such high hopes for these, but the whites went all to pieces. I had to spend about double the desired time just fixing it back up to Tabletop Quality.
I have cunning game plans for these, involving libraries, shadows, and Vashta Nerada.

Look pretty good to me. :)

They turned out very nice.

Yeah, that, nothing wrong with them at all. :)

Are those the same as the Bob Naismith Cobalt minis? Did Blue moon buy the figs?
-
I think those are new Dave. The Cobalt ones look more like GW Space Marines. Well, as far as armament and swords go. These are much more "retro-rocket" looking. Definately on my wish list.
Thanks for sharing Froggy. They look great.

Painting's fine, but your Photoshop magic lassoo has let you down in places (eg under the redhead's armpit).

Could you clarify please?

These are great!
I might start pulp sci fi gaming and I might use these!!! :)

Excellent stuff, thanks for sharing....

I think he is talking about the third one in. Under her arm it looks a little funny. It looks like a combination of the angle and the thin arm to me.

love the helmets and paint job.

Sorry - it looked to me like you had taken the photo against a coloured background, and then selected that colour with the Photoshop "Magic Wand" tool (or equivalent in your editing software), and deleted it to get a white background. But the colour must have been reflected by the white finish of the minis round the edges, because jagged edges have been deleted from those too - see under the arms of the two female figures in particular.
At least, that's what it looks like when I do that. Maybe it's just an odd coincidence.

Great figures with a rather spiffy paint job.
Well done 8)

aah, got it. Nope, that's actually the figure contours.
I took the picture against a white felt background because that's the only one I've found where it doesn't mess up the colors and lighting. Then I did an auto white balance and upped the brightness/contrast.Sorry - it looked to me like you had taken the photo against a coloured background, and then selected that colour with the Photoshop "Magic Wand" tool (or equivalent in your editing software), and deleted it to get a white background. Hmmm, now don't be afraid of the dark! you just need to convert one now to have a skull in the bubble and you're good to go (assuming you have the library of course, in which please do show!)

Sorry for getting hold of the wrong end of the stick.

Very nice, the time spent shows.
