Title: Romanian Armour
Post by: answer_is_42 on May 22, 2010, 11:00:51 AM
Just finished painting these. 15mm QRF figures, seven R-2 (Czech LT vz. 35), three T-4 (Panzer IV) and three tiny R-1 (Czech AH-IV).

Nice figures, although a little plain. Cheap, too.
Thanks for looking.

Yup, the Romanians received around 11 each of Panzer IIIs and IVs in 1942, and perhaps 100 more (mostly PZ IVs) throughout the rest of the war. Of course, they used whatever they could get their hands on. By the end of the war the fielded everything from upgunned R-35s to StuG IIIs.

This is a very good website for anyone interested in Romania during the Second World War;
