How does the Empress stuff scale up against the TAG modern British? Has anyone any comparison shots?
-
No need for photos ... the TAG stuff is way bigger and beefier ... I have some TAG Taliban and use one as a BIG hero character and a kneeling one as it doesn't look too 'off' until you look closely. The others are a no go really.
Empress fits in well with the Brook stuff from Old Glory although the Empress ones have finer detail.
-
British troops from TAG are less oversized than the talibans (different sculptor, Seth Nash for the initial modern lines :'( Richard Ansell for the others 8) )
-
Thanks chaps, I knew that the TAG taliban and U.S. are big and chunky but I knew the Brits were much better and slimmer sculpts. The Ansell TAG sculpt looks fine next to Red Star figures on their web gallery so I was hoping the Empress stuff would go well with them.

Didn't Seth Nash previously sculpt for Lego?
