Just what I said, why does no company make a good Dr. Syn/Scarecrow mini? I think he and his men with all the diffrent masks would make for some cool minis and fun painting. I guess some conversion could be done, but I (and I'm sure many others) suck at all but minor conversions lol, so how bout' it, would anyone else like to see these but me?

I think Blue Moon have one in their Swashbuckling range.
(Helen- he was a fictional character who was a smuggler and work a "scarecrow mask")

Lowrtardog is correct, he is in box BMM 202. I painted him up and he's nice, but I expect a lot of people won't want to buy a whole box of rogues just to get him.

All else failing there's a D&D plastic prepaint available that might make a suitable donor for a headswap, the 'Scarecrow Stalker':

I think Parkins miniatures do a range of masked smugglers

Great idea.
One of my long-cherished - but probably never to be realised - projects, is smugglers / wreckers / highwaymen / dragoons, using some of Trident's wonderful and extensive 40mm range... ::)
And Dr Syn would be a nice addition.
One day maybe ;)

Thanks Karl very much. I'm educated once more.

Here you go, Helen, a little taste...

It had quite an amazing cast of actors, when you think about it.
Patrick McGoohan (Danger Man/Secret Agent; The Prisoner)
George Cole (St.Trinian's; A Christmas Carol)
Michael Hordern
Geoffrey Keen ('M' from James Bond)
Patrick Wymark
Percy Herbert
Richard O'Sullivan
Quite a rogue's gallery of British character actors.

Thanks Guys very much. I do enjoy a good read in addition to a good flick.
Cheers to you all,

Geoffrey Keen ('M' from James Bond)
Geoffrey Keen's character wasn't M, but the Defence Minister, Sir Frederick Gray. Bernard Lee was M during that period. After Bernard Lee died the character of Sir Freddie was used to fill the "M" gap as Bond's boss in the films for a while, but he was never actually M.

Yeah there is always the Blue Moon one, but who wants to get a whole pack for one mini, and I'm sure its nice when painted up but the pose is not very dynamic. Some nice animated versions...plus mounted and unmounted would be a plus! Come on, I know we got enough guys on here who make minis, I'm giving you gold people lol!

Sorry, Plynkes, you're quite right. I should have known that but I was going off old memories. My James Bond days ended back with A View to a Kill. I just couldn't get into the new guys.
