Just have to give it a coat of matte spray when the weather warms up a bit.
Miniatures are mostly Foundry and a Crusader gunner

Hi,
Thanks for the thumbs up, Guys.
I have to admit, I'm looking forward to gaming with this terrain piece - just got to revamp my fifteen year old jungle pieces now.

Great work. A small consideration...add some scraggy vegetation, vines, etc., as it describes the block house as having been in dis-use for some time and we all know that jungle vegetation grows very quickly. Otherwise fantastic work. I really like how your bases on the figures match the base on the block house. Thanks for sharing.

I really like the stockade. It does look a bit too nice according to the book, but that's easily sorted with some scrub brush and maybe a judicious wash or two.
Treasure Island is one of my all-time favorite books from childhood and I still pull it out once in a while myself. Has anyone ever seen the version with Charlton Heston as Long John? It was done as a TV movie here in the states in the 1980s. I absolutely loved it, but sadly it doesn't ever seem to have been released on DVD.

Yes, it is my favourite version. Has a great cast, including Christian Bale, Christopher Lee, Oliver Reed, Richard Johnson and Julian Glover. I still have an aging VHS copy recorded off the telly. Really is a shame you can't get it on DVD.

Hi
Thanks all for the feed back - comments noted about the extra foliage - I'll dig out the Woodlands Scenics and sort it out over the weekend.

Is it not one of the versions you can buy here?

It's none of the ones that give any details. There are a bunch of Region 1 DVDs at the end of that list with no picture or information. Would be madness to buy one on the offchance, especially as it only ever seems to have been released on VHS (to my knowledge).

What do you think about this:

Is this a fake?
I would like to get this classic film on DVD myself, but have my doubts about this product, apart from playability on US and Canada machines only.

Good news if it is bona fide, but it seems odd that you cannot buy it from more well-known retailers such as Amazon, and yet this website I never heard of has it (?). IMDB don't list it as being available on DVD.

My guess would be that someone transferred their VHS copy onto a disc, but there's no way to know without forking over the $20. >:( If my tape version dies I might just have to.
