A lot of these figures look great (I had a look on the website), I'm sure that this must have been asked before, but how does the Projekt X range compare size-wise with stuff like Grindhouse and Privateer?
-
Thanks Hat Guy
Our miniatures are 1/48th scale so around 36mm tall, although that does vary by the model type. I don't own any of the ranges mentioned so cannot offer a comparison.
I have 28mm sized models with bigger weapons than some of the 1/48th WW2 figs so it all depends on what you enjoy doing! I do enjoy painting (badly it has to be said) and ours are great to paint (well I think so!)
I have seen some Privateer and some of those do look large so probably will fit in. I would hazard a guess we are much bigger than grindhouse but that might not be an issue for some of the power armoured models or if you are starting from scratch and want to be different :)
Someone did comment on how natural looking the British Infantry were at the show, so that was nice, however I think they freaked when they realised what the game was and saw some of the Projekt X models! :D :o
I will be dillegently working on the Projekt X background and rules over the next month or so. No confirmed next outing for the game yet, but undoubtably the British will be returning with the zombie/PX hunters and other new models we have in the works.
Thanks again

Even if they don't work, I may have to get some of those Zombie hunters just to paint. Any idea when they become available?

Probably about a month. In the meantime we have a good selection of British Infantry, Paratroops and some commandos to provide the back up!
kind regards
