Can someone help me. What the best (in your opinion) rules for single basing modern warfare with vehicles such as jeeps, tanks, helicopters. Like ARMA2 but on gaming table.

The popular choices seem to be the Ambush Alley/ Force on Force series. I have AA and it seems like a decent set of rules, that's well supported by the now obligatory on line forum. Charlie Company, whilst nominally for the Vietnam War is a fine set of rules adapatable for most modern wars.Worth tracking down a copy.

For Infantry combat I would use the free "Stargrunt rules". They are Sci Fi rules, but they actually better modern warfare rules and are converted in no time.
The rules focus on Infantry fighting, since all the ranges are for infantry. If a vehicle comes so near to infantry it's easy meat, but still has incredible firepower.
P.S. The only rules I know with wounded.

OK Battlefield Evolution Modern Combat is now officially oop, but you can still get the pdf via the Wargames vault.
I am biased with this system (since I wrote the WWII version), but still a very good set of rules IMO!

Thanx :)!

BF:Evo is alright, but it strikes me as a little too one force versus another force. Ambush Alley has the nice insurgents rules.
There's also flying lead, which I hear is good.
Best bet is to try a few of them. :)

Absolutely true, Evo is classic point based one vs one, while AA is no points - sceanrio driven.
Both have their pros and cons...
:)

Yup, definately.

I'm also a fan of BF:Evo, it works well with lots of troops, for our games that's about a platoon a side with support.
And I can't help but keep on plugging the Two Hour Wargames range for anything involving a squad a side shooting at each other. Chain Reaction is the modern ruleset and is a free pdf:

I agree with all of the above :D
There's also iron ivans Seek out close with and destroy (addon for DH/C7B)
it has everything from grunts to helicopters (dangerous dangerous helicopters)

"oop" mean out of print? Is it permanently out of print or not?

I think you should be able to pick it up through retailers etc.
Be careful there are 2 versions Battlefield EVO and Battlefield Evolution: Modern Combat the latter is based on the oringial Starship Troopers game from Mongoose whilst the former was a simplified set to match their pre painted plastics range.

Hurray! Now I have PDF of Battlefield Evolution Modern Warfare!
