Title: USMC 1890s uniform references
Post by: sasori on 08 June 2010, 06:37:56 AM
I'm looking for reference pictures of US Marine uniforms from the last decade of the 1800s. Any help would be appreciated. I need them for sculpting so front and back views are helpful.

Thanks in any help.

The only ones I have are from the Boxer Rebellion, I do not know if the kit was different for overseas service?

There are a couple of Ospreys with them in.

I watched and paused the "Wind and the Lion",using old frontier figures and painted in their dress blues w/leggings...I just love that scene  in the movie .
