Northstar is letting me use some of their new Storm of Steel robots in Super Science Tales. I'll be using them in a Weird War II scenario in the book.
I was painting this weekend and have nearly finished the RedBot.

The design isn't screaming "WW2 Russia" at me, but it's still kind of a cool miniature. I like the paint job.
Tripodal locomotion is a bugger to figure out from a neurological standpoint. Or perhaps it's just because I spent all my time studying Bougerois Neuroscience instead of Marxist-Leninist Computational Neurodynamics. Don't major in psychology.

It didn't scream WWII to me either, but I liked the design. It would look great in many sci fi games (like ahem Fantastic Worlds ahem) 8)

Oh, it would be perfect for Fantastic Worlds! I really like the tripod build.

"Space Commies" would be kind of a cool FW group. Complete with Nova Laika, Cosmodog!

"Rocketship Ziolkowski, to boldly go were no New Soviet Man has gone before!"
I like the bot. Redbot. Sounds cool. Not exactly ww2 in style, that model, but nice nonetheless.
