(Apologies for the slightly over-exposed whites in these pics - the macro lens didn't seem to like even today's overcast weather.)
I'm not by nature much of a painter of fantasy figures, and in fact the cook is the first orc I have painted in nearly 20 years (and the fool is the first goblin). However, this long hiatus means that I've happily manged to bypass that whole 'orcs and goblins are green nonsense!
Entries on the back of a postcard incidentally for what the chef might be called. My first idea was Heston Blumen-troll...

Wow - great job!

Although we might have to agree to disagree on this one! ;)
Actually they look great in human flesh tones and my first thought was what characterful human minis they were - especially the cook! (hadn't noticed the pointy ears! ::))
As for names what about Jamie Trolliver? ;D

Nice work. :)
Orcs are green by the way. Believe me. ;)
-
Yeah realistic Orcs anyway! ;D
-
Orcs aren't green, they're buff!
They also wear red (or sometimes even green!) and carry muskets.

Good job! 8)
I have both of those figures, but I think mine will be green. ;)

What's on the chef's pan by the way - looks gross! >:D

I quite like them both. Very nice jobs, and they look (in their own odd way) utterly charming.
What is in that pan?
