with the overwhelmingly positive critical response of the reimagined series and my personal obsession with it I was wondering if anyone made a ruleset or miniatures for wargaming this marvellous setting?

I've just bought a download of 'Colonial Battlefleet' by Steel Dreadnought Games which purports to be able to replicate any space battle genre you can think of. One of their examples is very 'not-enough-like-BSG-to-get-us-sued'...
Haven't had a chance to give it a run out yet as I'm too busy playing Ambush Z at the mo.
Also, there's a fairly active BSG gaming group over at Yahoo! who might be able to help.

oh, thx

Would these cover not-ST, too?

Poke around on http://www.star-ranger.com/forum/index.php and you'll find a LOT of BSG starship gamers who know where to get models.

could You explain please?

Are you talking on a skirmish size, or a spaceship size?
-
duesn't matter, I am simply curious what could be available
I painted some I-Kore miniatures in pilot suits resembling BSG and I thought of using Necrons as Cylons, but that's as far as I got

Star Trek........................

oh, ST is nice, but a totally different approach to BSG
the only comparable style would be STII, Wrath of Khan
no, I guess no ST

A friend wrote stats for the various fighters to fit the Babylon 5 spaceship combat rules he'd had on the shelf for a dog's age - some cracking good games, although it does take some bookkeeping. All the evenings lacked was a CD of kodo drum music, for atmosphere.
