I thought I would start a new thread just for these. They are only taking about half an hour each, they are pretty small, but I am enjoying them.

Looking good. :) (Only half an hour each :o )

These look great. I'm really liking the rich yellow you used on the fox. Foundry paints?
I'm a big fan of all the Splintered Light stuff. Now you've gone and inspired me to post some of my Dwarves... lol

(Only half an hour each :o )
My thoughts exactly! Excellent.

Very, very nice Svennn! I love seeing these minis painted up, they are far too rarely posted. I encourage everyone who have any painted to post a thread with them!
I wish I had time to do mine - but there's a 28mm fantasy project between me and 15/18 mm goodness! Now Dave has a sale on too, I doubt I'll be able to not buy some more of these.

like the paintjob

Those look very nice! I love the Splintered Light minis.

Lovely paint jobs and very characterful minis - where did my old Redwall books go...? :D
-
Great paint job! And very tempting...
Are they usable with other 28mm fantasy stuff? I know these are 15mm-18mm - that should be ok for badgers, foxes and the like in a 28mm setting? I'm considering to buy some and play the new Harvesters RPG with my son as soon as he is old enough (that will have to wait a couple of years - but it is a great excuse to buy minis anyway :) ).
@Thantsants: heard about the Redwall stuff. Is it worth reading? Children's books - but so what. I like Potter and Fowl, too
-
Last time I read them I can't have been older that 13 or 14 - really enjoyed them then!
Looks like they'd work well as badgers and foxes, as you say, with 28mm from the pic with Bromhead - http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=20299.0

@abbot_amaury
The models from the Splintered Lands collection are definitely 17-18mm and would work well enough for 28mm fantasy.
The other lines they have are much closer to true 15mm (undead, dark dwarves, etc.).
Oh, and don't forget about Mouseguard! These models are great for that.

Thanks VoodooInk and Thantsants!
Just googled for 'Mouseguard' and the first hit is... tada... a thread on a mysterious forum called 'The Lead Adventure Forum': chuman's mouseguard thread (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=11775.0) ::) ... Thanks for the hint. Would have missed that thread otherwise...

No worries! The Mouse Guard hardcover books Fall 1152 and Winter 1152 have beautiful artwork. I find the color palettes inspiring when I am getting ready to paint some minis.
You can see some previews of the interior pages here:
