Please help me, LAF, you're my only hope! I'm looking for some weird west female gunslingers to use as "Ronin" for Malifaux. Malifaux's scale runs to the "heroic" side of things, around 32 mm. The figs would ideally be in Western clothing, with either a single pistol, a or a pistol and a sword (unlikely in WW figs, I know!). Any suggestions would be very, very appreciated! To give you an idea of what they'd go along with, I already have:
The Wyrd Ronin:

Iron Kingdom's Pistoleer

Reaper's Ellen Stone

32mm? Then Black Scorpion - Tombstone range should have all you need. LINK (http://www.blackscorpionminiatures.com/index.php?cPath=28)
Scroll down for various female figures.

Yep, Black Scorpion mixes well.
From the same Warmachine range as the Ordic Pistolier is Taryn Di La Rovissi, just swap a pistol for a sword if you want one.

Then there is Sam McHorne of the Devil Dogs (can be mail ordered seperate from the unit).

Eliza Stone from Artizan is a favourite of mine (although a little shorter)

Perfect! Thanks, all. the cowgirls from BS and the other Privaterr Press options look like they'll fit the bill nicely!
Much obliged,
Jim

Another set I quite like is Copplestone Castings Urban Cowgirls
(http://www.copplestonecastings.co.uk/images/fw33.jpg)
http://www.copplestonecastings.co.uk/range.php?range=FW
they mix in quite nicely with the Ronin, I'm tempted to use the 2 pistol girl as an convict gunslinger.
You can see one standing right next to a ronin in this shot of mine

Excellent thread, excellent suggestions.
While we're chatting so pleasantly, does anyone have any suggestions for alternate "soiled dove" (prostitute) miniatures in a Malifaux-friendly scale? (You tend to need extra zombie prostitutes for Seamus to raise). The old Foundry Soiled Doves are eensy-weensy compared to a Malifaux Rotten Belle figure.

Here's a dance hall girl from Eureka, discovered I had a couple of these from when I was interested in Victorian period stuff, they'll make good saloon girls

there is also the one with a repeater at the front of my group shot from Shadowforge

I've also spotted these from Knuckleduster but I have no experience with them so no idea on size or quality unfortunately, I think I'll pick up a few of the civy packs to find out.

Thanks, but Eureka figures tend to be very small in my experience and Wyrd are very large, so the scale disparity may be unsupportable. The one figure that I did find cruising around is the Black Scorpion Governor's Daughter figure, which should be the right scale (and she already carries a fan!).

I also thought that the old Mordheim Marianna Chevaux (sexy lady vampire assassin) figure might work (her outfit is appropriately frilly):

Re the original Ronin question, the Black Scorpion Pirate Girls line is perfect, as many of them are equipped with swords and pistols already:

doesn't your keyboard have a delete button? ;)
I like this thread. I haven't anything useful to contribute, but I want to say something so that it gets saved into my replies. Keep up the good work. :D

Check out the Voodo Witch from Freebooter.

I love freebooter, but they are just sooo expensive. If they weren't I would buy them all!
BTW You aer right about that witch- she's great!

Agreed, Freebooter makes excellent figures but they are ruinously overpriced...! :o

I am not sure about the height aspect but I liked the http://www.shadowforge.com.au/ figures and they might be useful:
1FHW100 WILD WEST WOMEN
1FHW101 EARP SISTERS & DR HOLLY DAYE
Gracias,
Glenn

Well for size comparison here are the 2 Eureka minis next to a Ronin and a naughty french maid by the Freebooter guy made by Reaper, they seem OK height, unless I put em next to Lady Justice which is stupidly big and tall or the Twins who are again really tall.
and here's 2 of Shadowforges girls which are far more on the short end of the scale

Thanks, Rob. That scale comparison is very helpful. I'd forgotten about that Chronoscope sexy French Maid- She'd make a pretty good Rotten Belle all on her own with the appropriate undead paint job...! ::)

Wow - some great stuff in here! Looks like I'll be spending a fair bit of change soon. Those Black Scorpion models are stunning. It seems like a very consistent and well-sculpted range.

Yes they are. I have many of Black Scorpion's pirate figures and they are well proportioned & full of character. You'll love this company.
