Inspired by Akula I have decided to have a go too. Got some EM4 Troopers, Signee and Billie from Hasslefree and an APC from Grendel and a few other bits too.
Dags has been working his magic over these bits for starters. The atmosphere processor and the bases are from Fenris.

I love it when a plan comes together!
-
Lovely Paintjobs by Dags as usual.
:)
-
Cheers Akky. How's the build coming along? Planning to use all my Sci-Fi Dwarven Forge stuff for mine.
-
Nice nicely done by Dags there. Like Apone, though doing mine with the black suclacco baseball cap.
Anything else in the pipeline?
-
I'll add the Horrorclix Aliens to them if Mr Harold comes up trumps.
Still HF Signee and Billie to come too. Oh and another Sentry gun.
Then I'll get some of Tony Griffon Alien Hive bits to add to my Dwarven Forge Sci-Fi sets - shamefully have loads.

I was thinking of adding an outdoor section with CT Colony buildings - but it's a bit pricey.

This week is my "week of pain" at work - am working all weekend & every evening as well as normal hours - but will post some piccies of work on the second module in the next week or so.

Just the two sentry guns??? No no no Karl, you've got to get with the programme! ;)
(All looks nice, If you need nids for alien conversion let me know, I have a few ;)).
-
Cheers V - I'll see if I get any luck with the clix. And I only need more Sentry Guns if playing the Special Edition :)
Also settled on the Old Crow Infantry Lander for the Drop Ship which I'll add to my birthday list.

Oooh lovely stuff, ;D
Inspires me to revisit my old display game, I particulary like the copplestone and hasslefree figures.
If you didn't catch it first time, here is the old LAF thread

Luckily I have gotten my hands on a couple of 1/48th APCs from the states. The guy has a blogsite here...
http://bambamproductions.blogspot.com/ (http://bambamproductions.blogspot.com/)
He also does the APC in 1/144th and 1/35th and a dropship in 1/72th resin kits all.
I asked him about 1/48th dropships - no plans as yet..."but you never know"
Regards

Lovely work. I prefer smaller figures myself but you can easily identify the characters there.
-
I love it!
-
Excellent stuff!!
-
That's a great project. Coming along very nicely. I'm really enjoying all these alien projects
-
Cheers gents :)
Harold kindly got me some Horrorclix Aliens and a Queen! Result!
-
Don't know why I never used the Copplestone figures for Colonial Marines. I have a bunch of the old Leading Edge Colonial Marines so I didn't think I needed more. Now that I see so many other Aliens projects I'm getting Marine envy.

Actually, if you go the old grenadier future wars route via E4M miniatures you'll get some lovely colonial marines for £1.25 each!

Which are of course what they are! :D

..... and as Doug is a great guy, it would be a shame while your there not to pick up his not-terminators too. ;)

Which are much better than the later copplestone ones in my humble opinion and look great painted up.

The Commander
Absolutely. Bodies are almost identical, but the skulls are much more 'Terminator-ish' :)

Em4 are a class act, cheap figures, great service and alot of stuff cleaned up and pre primed!!!
