Remember the vehicle design rules? There was a WD article that appeared immediately after with rules and modeling tips for giant Tyranids.
While I am not enough of a modeler to build something like that from scratch, I could definitely put a few mods and a little paint on some kind of big, buggy toy. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking about some of the Starship Troopers bug models, but they haven't been around in a while. Any other suggestions?
Thanks

Hello,
oddly enough I saw a friend this weekend and he told me he had bought a cheap Lord of the Rings Shelob toy which he was going to mod up into a bio-titan at some point.
I am guessing he was refering to this one:
Shelob Super Poseable Lord Of The Rings Trilogy Figure
(http://www.amazon.co.uk/Shelob-Super-Poseable-Trilogy-Figure/dp/B0001ZZR2K)
Perhaps that fits the bill?

I can recommend the doctor who spider queen toy, do a web search or eBay, picked mine up for £3! Far better starting point than shelly it you want a dig bio Titan. I used the legs from that and the body from a Men in Black Edgar toy... It's a great combo

Also good thoughts! Would you happen to have any photos? I'm drawing a blank.
