The glasses on the priest :o Did you paint the eyes on to the flat of the glasses? Never seen this done before.. it looks fantastic. Great stuff.

Very nice Michi ;D

Great job Michi. You've really brought these characters to life with your painting. I really like how you did the blue jeans on the Scot.

Jesus, yes, that's unbelievably good! :-* Don't think I've the stones to try that...

Lovely, the faces on all three are just fantastic. The skin-tone blending is great.

Very, very nice 8)
Are they 28mm... Whatever that might be?
-
Closer to 'heroic' 28mm.

Awesome paintjob :o
First time I see the eyes-on-glasses trick. Methinks it needs a unspeakably steady hand !

Still amazed by those glasses. Each lens must be about 1mm right? Deserves a double :o :o one for each eye!
-
The glasses effect is incredible. :o

wow and wow again! This is some of the best painting I have seen in a long time

Agreed! I particularly like the fact that the eyes look larger - as if the lenses are magnifying them. If one looks at the sideview, there's a strip of light on the side of the lens to imply that the lenses are a bit too thick for the frames... The white highlights on the front view definitely help to give the impression of lenses being there (as opposed to being just frames alone). One would have to be careful to curve those reflections, lest the finished product look like the flat-lensed Hollywood fake glasses effect. Quite a myopic impression overall! :D I'm going to remember this for my librarian fig.

The glasss are superb! Plus the skin tones are truely fantastic. :-*

The smoothness of the blending and the skintones you've used on the faces is amazing - the girl's face in particular is just incredible.
The rest of the minis are great too, of course - I like the lad's jeans as well (I can never get denim to come out quite right).
Do let us know if you ever plan to make a photo or video tutorial - I'll be first in line to buy it!
