Title: 15mm not-Starcraft Marine or Firebat conversion ideas or comission price

Hi,

as the latest trailers of Starcraft II featured a fantastic re-design of the Terran marines, I just want one of these in 15mm. Or a Firebat  :D

1. Are there any nice and suitable base models that could be used for a conversion ? I know the big suit guys from Khurasan, but they are different style-wise.

2. Out of pure interest, what would a comission sculpter charge for creating a 15mm Marine ? Artwork can be provided. Would a base model make it way cheaper ?

PMs concerning price per hour or for the whole miniature welcome  :)

Possibly the GZG Powersuits? V15-79A and V15-79B

Supposed to be 2.8m in scale height for 15mm.

I think the OOP Mongoose Cougar Exosuits would also be close, if only they were not made of Unobtainium.

I'm sculpting miniatures. I'm usually charging £60 per 30mm miniature. As I understand that's about the size you need.

It'd take some converting to be sure, but GW's Tau Empire has some models that may fit the bill.
