Title: Cobblestone Castings Website
Post by: Leapsnbounds on 25 July 2010, 11:39:58 PM
Am I the only one, but I have been unable to log onto the Cobblestone Castings Website.  In fact, my computer kicks me off the Internet when I try to get onto the Website.  I really like drooling over those LMK Taqnks. (You know the ones that look like armored sausages with machine gun turrets on top).  Can anyone giv eme insight to waht is going on and how I might be able to sneak in.

Could it be that it's called CoPPlestone, not Cobblestone?

I think we've talked about this issue beefore and the reason may be that you have an old version of Internet Explorer or are using an obscure browser.

Mark's site uses Java, so maybe you need to update that.

As others have said, to paraphrase, it's not "them" it's "you."  Or rather, your browser or a related setting.

Absolutely no harm in running more than one browser on your PC.  I use IE, Firefox and Opera.  If any website causes "issues" in one, I try it with one of the other browsers.

Whatever browser you're running, keep upto date.  Lot of nasty people out there on the Internet trying to damage and steal via "old" browsers.

I did see some problems with Copplestone on one of my PCs with IE.  Do seem to recall it was a Jave update that fixed.  Months ago though and the memory dims...

Thank you I will try your suggestions.  It is appreciated as I am not very computer literate and I don't want to lose the site.  The Back of Beyond Range is what got me into the Russian Civil Period (in particular the Armed Archealogist with two pistols (you kow the Brandon Frazier looing dude) that I just had to have several opponents for.
