Amazing stuff matakishi. Simply amazing.

I can't win, but I have been slaving away. Give me a few more hours to finish off the Night Goblin unit and I'll try not to let the team down too much. I've been pretty productive on the square basers, even did some terrain and I don't know what else. Lots of Night Goblins the last 3 days...
Man o' Man. o_o
Everything looks great so far!
-
Can't keep up with Matakishi but did manage 78 this month plus 3 builings and the walls for my Chinese enclave so quite chuffed.
Most have been shown in individual threads so no pics here.

This was a hard, hard month on the painting table. Warhammer 8th Edition and being talked into playing in a campaign required a huge effort. Plus I worked on some of my other long term projects, even some terrain. Here is backwards in time Flickr style. Some of these models were painted or partly painted prior to July, but I finished them and uploaded them to Flickr this month.

Whew... Never expect me to repeat this much painting in a month. And remember a lot of these models were partly painted or even basically done before this month, of course some of them were nothing and not even on my radar...

90 (or 96 if you count the guns as well).

This is all I've managed this month:

And two Foundry cowboys thatwere for somebody else so I didn't take a picture of them.

Investigators... (Apparently poor spotters. Why would anyone hire that sort of motley crew?) Some trees and other stuff too.

Some really nice work again this month. My own total of painted figure for July is 14 (20 if I count the horses… which I do ;D )

Thanks (also to Lowtardog). They are Foundry figures, not Mongoose.
Lovely ship, Ironworker. You really do have a talent for spotting useable toys. :)

Just meant to paint a handful as a break from painting soldiers, but zombies turned out to be just too darn fun.
26 zombies for me. Braaiiiins.
-
Nice zombies!
I've set myself a goal to paint 100 zombies. It doesn't have a deadline. Mantic is releasing some new Zombies soon. There are so many different ones out there in 25/28mm scale.

Awesome stuff! Are these (http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc183/answeris42/Models/DSCF4361.jpg) from Perry's "Mafeking"?
I painted a lone viking (Crusader):

A French machine-gunner (Scarab):

A tiny (=cute) Force of Arms FT-17:

A heroic French leader (Copplestone):

Not a lot but much better than june :D
-
That’s really nice work Pentaro. I really like how clean your painting style is. I especially like your WWI stuff (it’s one of my favourites period). I like how you’ve painted the Copplestone figure and the name of the tank make me smile when I saw it! lol
-
Thanks! I must admit I copied it - there's a real tank with that name in Zaloga's Osprey book. I love Jules Verne and tanks bog down a lot in the "Mud & Blood" rules, so I had to use that name. Hmm, seeing that picture reminded me that I didn't paint any identification on it!

Yes, and very nice they are too.

As usual, a day or two late with my offerings (mainly due to photographing them...)
25 various figures, a large chunk being a Warmachine Khador force

Larger pics on my Photobucket site (until I get them on my website)

@Dolmot.
Always look forward to your stuff :)
Are trees just mashed up turf glued on a base?

Thanks again. The trees are pine and spruce cones covered with turf. They're cheap to make and come in many suitable shapes. You can put them on separate bases or glue a few together to make a freely standing group. Epoxy or hot glue are good choices for that job. Then just use wet PVA layers or some kind of varnish to hold the turf tightly. £5 will easily buy the materials for a whole forest.

Second page after two days into the new month? You keep amazing me, guys. :o
Here's what I've done so far, mostly stuff finished during the last days, lying around since June (before the heat wave screwed up my painting schedule).
16th Light Dragoons for the AWI
(http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y178/Poliorketes/Tabletop/AWI/DSC05976-1.jpg)
Two Elven maids (the third seen here before)
And a few other models, that I've not yet taken photos of because the basing is still to be done: Namely some Neo-Tsarist guerrilla and some Greek hoplites.
-
Cheers, Dolmot!
@Flying squirrel
I missed your zombies, great job! :)
@Doc
I really like your bases, they truly look alive with the splashes of grey on them :)

Thanks for the link, Mattias. :)
Does anyone know if there is a UK stockist for RAFM, I've found Allsorts Emporium, but they don't appear to stock the Great Cthulu?

Tim at Miniature Heroes I think, though could be wrong. I've ordered diredtly in the past from the UK, no issues.

@Commander Vyper. Can't see one on Miniature Heroes, thanks anyway. I toyed with ordering direct, but was worried about getting hit by customs. Have you had any hassle that way?

A unit of Artizan Arthurians - what for? I don't know I liked the look of them o_o

Those arthurian look fantastic, you've every right to be proud of them!

Finally someone painted those Artizan Arthurians! Very nice! :-*
Transfers for the shields? Buy or make the spears?
I'm going to treat myself to some of these for my 40th B-day, if the GF didn't get my SUBTLE HINT that I'd like some! ::)
-
Really nice work valleyboy. I like both units 8)
-
Thanks for the kind comments gents, Mike Owen sculpts such nice figures
Shields are from LBMS - Steve Hales suggested that the Westwind Arthurian shield designs would be the best fit for the ovals and the Westwind saxon design for the ovals
Spears are from Northstar/Artizan - sharp and painful, beware
