Title: Vendel Miniatures Free Rules
Post by: The Gray Ghost on August 02, 2010, 11:37:23 PM
What happened to the rules Vendel used to have to support their figure lines, I'm thinking of their Reivers and Elizabethan stuff is it posted anywhere on the web?

I will have a look Richard Tyson and Graham Harison wrote the Reiver rules and I wrote the rennaisnace rules but buggered if I know where they went may be lost on my PC, they used to be on Free wargames rules but may have died when the vendel website closed :'(

They were based on Chronopia which is nice for small scale battles and quite versatile, they need a bit of developing ;D but work pretty well thogh a fair criticism was it needs more explanation on mechanisms.

Hello Lowtard,

The rules files were not transfered to me when I bought Vendel.  I woudl be more than happy to put them up on my new site alongside the figures if you are still interested in having them there.  I never saw the Elizabetan ones.  I printed a copy of the Reiver ones, and still have it, but do not have it electronically...

If you choose to e-mail them to me, my address is andrewturlington@hotmail.com

Thanks!
Andy

Hello ndy I will ping them over, they probably need work on them but should give a grounding. I no longer have the Reiver rules but will get a copy form one of my mate who wrote them
