Title: Crackle paint

Recently I have been making pools using cd's and was thinking of making one that had dried out.  Any suggestions would be great.  Another thought I had was crackle paint.  Has anybody used this stuff for terrain?

I have never had euccess with any crackle paint of medium.  What I use that works best for me was ground up cheap powdered kitty litter and watered down pva/white glue.   lay down a fair ammount of glue and scoop a good bit of kitty litter power on top then dump most of it off.  As it dries and soaks in it should crack and pull apart like silty mud does when it dries.
